Location is optional
Mapoki works without GPS. To use your position, tap the location control and allow access while using the app. You can change this later in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services.

Offline use
The illustrated map, place guide, search, and saved places are bundled with Mapoki. Apple Maps, Google Maps, directions, and source websites require their respective apps or an internet connection.
Map orientation
Pinch to zoom, drag to explore, and use a gentle two-finger twist for a temporary rotation. The map returns toward north-up to help you stay oriented.
Map corrections
Mapoki is an illustrated visitor guide, not a legal boundary or turn-by-turn navigation product. Send corrections or updated place information to the support email above.
Trip requests
Connected trip requests require internet. After consent, your itinerary and details are shared with approved collaborators. Check My requests for responses. A guide response means availability; price and booking details still need to be agreed. No payment is taken in the app.
For request deletion or data questions, contact the support address above. Uninstalling does not automatically delete server-side requests. See collaborator support for the guide app.
Privacy
Browsing does not require signing in. Connected requests use a private device session. These versions do not use ads or analytics. Read the full Mapoki Privacy Policy.
